  2. A Head Model
  3.  
  4. This is a somewhat stylized face/head, no hair, no hat
  5. etc., but otherwise fairly detailed.  The attributes
  6. you'll find are are just some arbitrary settings involving
  7. color, specularity, and hardness.  The brushmaps or textures
  8. that might be applied are up to you. I've found that "states"
  9. can be made to animate the expression. However, because the
  10. polygons can sometimes move in unexpected ways while changing
  11. position, odd "crumpled" artifacts can occur.

  13. A bit of background.
  14.  
  15. I released another head some years ago, and you may have 
  16. seen it floating around the net, or on a CD.  That one was
  17. modelled using Turbo Silver.  This one was done with the
  18. great grand child of that program, Imagine 3.0 (TM).  The 
  19. improvements evident in this one are the result of both the 
  20. greater power of Imagine, and my own experience.  The earlier 
  21. model took perhaps 60 hours of really hard work.  This one 
  22. took less than 10 hours.

  24. Essentially, I just draw in the features free hand, and
  25. connect the faces.

  29. Of course, any renders belong to you.  However, being the
  30. discoverer of all these points in XYZ space, I retain 
  31. rights to them.  Also, the method of creating them, called
  32. "thinking" belongs to me (sarcasm intended.)
